CAN Cancer volunteers passed around purple garbage cans throughout the stands on Friday night asking rodeo fans to donate their spare change and help support CAN Cancer.
Donations totaled $1,223.17!
CAN Cancer provides financial assistance to help cover
non-medical living expenses for Central Oregonians
fighting all forms of cancer.
Funds raised have helped local families with their utilities, gas cards,
rent assistance, hotel stays and grocery cards.
100% of the money stays local
and 100% of the funds raised goes to the patient.
Thank You to everyone who donated and to the Deschutes County Rodeo for giving us the opportunity to raise money and get the word out for CAN Cancer.
