Free Residential Shred Event to Benefit The Bloom Project

SecureShred is offering free residential shredding on Saturday, June 4, 2016.

Where: Old Mill District - Bend in the Hampton Inn parking lot

When: Saturday, June 4, 2016, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

This free event is intended for residential shredding only, no commercial or business shredding provided. There is no cost to the public for up to 4 medium size boxes of personal documents. No sorting necessary, staples and paperclips are fine.

This event will benefit The Bloom Project. They are asking for a suggested $5.00 donation per box (Cash or checks, checks payable to: The Bloom Project). The Bloom Project gives the gift of fresh floral arrangements to hospice and palliative care patients. For more information about The Bloom Project, please visit www.thebloomproject.org

Normal Collection Schedule on Memorial Day

Bend Garbage & Recycling will be operating on a normal collection schedule on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2016.

Customers who have garbage and recycling collection service on Monday's should have their carts out by 6:00 a.m. or the night before.

The Bend Garbage & Recycling office will be closed on Memorial Day, May 30, 2016 and will re-open Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 8:00 a.m.

Bend Garbage & Recycling collects on all holidays except for Christmas Day and New Years Day.
