4th of July Collection Schedule

On Wednesday, July 4, 2012, Bend Garbage & Recycling will be on normal collection schedule for garbage and recycling. Please have your carts out by 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

The Bend Garbage & Recycling office will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in observance of Independence Day.  The office will re-open on Thursday, July 5th at 8:00 a.m.

Free Residential Shred Event - Sunriver

SecureShred and the Sunriver Police Department have teamed up to provide a free residential shred event.

When: Saturday, June 9th from 9am - 12pm
Where: Sunriver Police Department
              57455 Abbot Drive

This event is intended for personal residential document shredding only, no commercial or business shredding provided.  

No advance document sorting is necessary as the SecureShred truck will destroy paperwork with paper clips and staples attached.  File folders may also be shredded.

At this event they will also be collecting prescriptions and over the counter medication.  For more information, please contact 541-593-1014.

Residents are asked to bring a donation of non-perishable food to benefit Care and Share, a local non-profit organization the provides food to local families.
