CAN Cancer was founded by the Central Oregon Haulers, including Bend Garbage & Recycling to provide community assistance for our neighbors battling cancer.
In March, the Central Oregon haulers mailed out donation envelopes asking our customers if everyone could donate $1.00, we'd be able to raise $60,000.
To date, we've raised almost $10,000 and have been able to help several families here in Central Oregon. 100% of the donation stays local and helps families pay for non-medical expenses such as fuel, travel and food costs. 25% of those diagnosed with cancer lose their life savings trying to survive it!
