Winter Weather Guidelines
- Please maintain access to roll carts, containers and enclosures by clearing snow and ice. Bend Garbage & Recycling drivers are generally working by themselves and icy conditions or areas not shoveled can make it impossible for them to provide service.
- Bag wet waste to help prevent garbage from freezing to the bottom of your roll cart.
- Fireplace ashes must be COLD. Bend Garbage & Recycling has had instances where warm ashes flared up in the trucks.
- Bag packing peanuts, cold ashes, kitty litter and any other debris that could easily blow around while your roll cart is being emptied.
If you have any questions, please contact the Bend Garbage & Recycling office at 541-382-2263 or visit our website at bendgarbage.com
