Customers are invited to come down to Newport Avenue Market on Saturday and bring their own 5 gallon bucket to fill with Deschutes Recycling's ReGrow compost for free (while supplies last).
ReGrow compost is a nutrient rich product made from locally recycled yard trimmings, recycled food and vegetable trimmings. ReGrow compost is a perfect supplement to the sandy Central Oregon soils.
Cubic Foot Bags of ReGrow will also be available for sale.

This is our newest product and will be great for your garden, lawn and potted plants. This product contains 50% food based compost which enhances nutrients, especially nitrogen.
BioFine - now $19 / yard. Save $7 per yard.
Premium compost which is specifically designed for topdressing existing turf and where a finer blend is needed. For lawns, we recommend a spring and fall application each year. BioFine can also be used as a seed starter.
SoilBuilder - now $15 / yard. Save $5 per yard.
Perfect for amending soil before planting or sodding, tilling into garden spots, building up mounds for planting and for use as a decorative alternative to bark in all gardening areas.

Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off Dates
The Hazardous Waste Facility is located at the Knott Landfill Recycling & Transfer Facility and is open 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Friday and Saturday of each month. March drop off dates will be Friday, March 14, Saturday, March 15, Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29.

The free shred event will take place a 4 Mid Oregon Credit Union Branches in Bend, Madras, Prineville, and Redmond. This free event is intended for residential shredding only, no commercial or business shredding provided. No sorting necessary, personal documents with staples and paperclips are fine.
