Deschutes Recycling & Knott Landfill Closed for Labor Day
Deschutes Recycling and Knott Landfill located at 61050 SE 27th Street in Bend will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.
They will re-open on Tuesday, September 8th at 7:00 a.m.

Free Appliances Recycle Event
Knott Landfill located at 61050 SE 27th in Bend is accepting used appliances at no charge on Saturday, August 22nd from 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
No microwaves, small kitchen items, business or commercial appliances.
Acceptable items include:
stoves, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers& trash compactors (free of food or food residue), ovens, water heaters, furnaces, washers, heat pumps, dryers and air conditioners

Bend Garbage & Recycling is proud to join Pacific Power's Blue Sky Program. Blue Sky is a program that allows businesses to purchase renewable energy which supports local and regional renewable energy projects and helps create environmental benefits in our region.

Residents can bring their tires to Knott Landfill, located at 61050 SE 27th Street in Bend on Saturday, September 19th and dispose of them for no charge.
The free event is from 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and is for residents only.
On or off the rim is acceptable but please keep them separated. Tires with rim size up to 24 1/2" will be accepted. Limit of 12 tires per load.
No heavy equipment tires, retailers or fleet tires.
